Most of the foreign airlines listed on U.S. exchanges are based in Central and South America. There are also a couple of major Chinese airlines and Ryanair Holdings in Ireland. Similar to the U.S. airlines that are publicly traded, these airlines differ from each other in size in terms of the amount of daily flights and destinations in which the airline serves.
