U.S. Market Benchmark

List of Publicly Traded Ecommerce Companies Listed on U.S. Exchanges

Thousands of companies are engaged in ecommerce functions but the public companies on this list generate the majority of their revenues from their ecommerce activities. Just like the traditional retail sector, these companies sell, quite literally, just about everything. In fact, eBay alone claims to have approximately 800 million items for sell on their site.

Unlike many of the other retail categories, there are numerous foreign listed public companies in this category. Most of these companies are headquartered in China and represent some of the largest ecommerce sites in the country.
