List of ETFs Focusing on Argentina Listed on U.S. Exchanges
The companies in this Argentinian ETF are headquartered or listed in Argentina and conduct the majority of the company’s operations within Argentina. Some of the largest companies in Argentina are Tenaris SA, Mercadolibre INC, YPF Sociedad Anonima, Grupo Financiero Galicia and Banco Macro SA. The only listed ETF focusing on Argentina is provided by GlobalX (ARGT) and is weighted towards the top holdings and the energy sector. An investor should always check with the individual ETF provider to verify the specific exposure the ETF has to each company and sector as this information can change.
There are a few Argentinian companies in ETFs that focus on Latin America but as a general rule the country only represents a small percentage of these ETFs.
