List of U.S. Clean Energy ETFs Listed on U.S. Exchanges
Two of the most common types of clean energy that first come to mind are solar and wind power. While solar and wind companies are certainly represented in some of these ETFs, the range of clean energy activities represented in these ETFS extends far beyond these areas. Examples of the types of companies that can be included in at least one of these ETFs are companies that engage in the areas of advanced batteries, biofuels, emission reduction, energy storage, greener utilities and innovative materials. It should be noted that the Huntington ETF (HECO) focuses on ecologically focused companies which includes companies like Apple and Google.
Addition clean energy ETFs including global companies can be found in our Global Clean Energy ETF section.
