Publicly Traded Small-Cap Auto Part Suppliers
List of Publicly Traded Small-Cap Auto Part Suppliers Listed on U.S. Exchanges
Small-cap auto part suppliers usually manufacture a very specific part, component or system. Examples of these might be a company that focuses specifically on brake systems for commercial vehicles or a company that manufactures aluminum wheels. While this is not universally true, it is a very common trait amongst these small-cap auto part companies. The real exceptions to this are the aftermarket parts companies on this list that generally distribute a variety of auto parts to the automotive aftermarket. Most of the companies in this category are based in the United States but there are a handful of auto part suppliers from China that are traded on major U.S. exchanges.
For those curious, Remy International was previously on this list but was acquired by BorgWarner (BWA) in November of 2015.
