List of Global Technology ETFs Listed on U.S. Exchanges

There are essentially two types of global technology ETFs listed on U.S. exchanges. The first type are what may be considered traditional technology ETFs which include companies that are involved with electronic equipment instruments and components, IT services, semiconductors or software. The iShares ETF (IXN) and the SPDR ETF (IPK) are examples of this type of ETF.

The other types of global technology ETFs are specialty ETFs that focus on a specific industry within the technology sector. There are three of these ETFs including ETFs that focus on social media companies, robotics and companies that may benefit from a shift to cloud-based technology.

Also included on this list are technology ETFs that we have in other categories. These ETFs focus on the technology sector in emerging markets, specific regions or individual countries.
