List of Emerging Market Leveraged ETFs Listed on U.S. Exchanges

For investors bullish on the emerging markets there are ETFS available providing between 1.25 to 3x leverage. If you are unfamiliar with the term leverage let us provide you with a simplified example. If an ETF you own has 2x leverage and the benchmark index that the ETF is based upon goes up one dollar on a given day, your ETF is designed to go up two dollars for that same day. This excites a lot of investors when they first hear about the concept but you always have to remember that leverage works both ways. If your 2x leveraged ETF’s benchmark goes down one dollar, your ETF is also designed to go down two dollars.
