The companies on this list are real estate investment trusts (REITs) that focus on malls. The REITs in this category tend to own fewer total properties than other REIT categories, generally in the range of 40 to 140 mall properties. However, owning fewer properties does not mean these REITs are smaller companies as most of the mall REITs on this list are either mid or large-cap companies.
