There a large number publicly traded companies focusing on post-secondary education. Many of these companies have campuses spread throughout the United States and offer associate, bachelor, master and doctoral degree programs. The fields of study in which a student can receive a degree vary from university to university. Some institutions offer a specialized focus in a few programs with other institutions offering a broad selection of degree programs.
There is usually some mix of online, on-campus or hybrid program offered by the university. However, some of the companies on this list are exclusively online (Capella) or put a primary emphasis on their online programs.
